How do I know what image I am downloading?

You may preview the image that you would be downloading by clicking on “Preview” next to the file size in the size column under the image viewer. You may also preview the image once you have added it to your cart. Please preview all images before you purchase as we cannot refund digital images.

What size digital images are available?
|
 |
|
We offer digital downloads in multiple pixel sizes ranging from 1500 x 1500 px to 3500 x 3500 px. Each of these numbers represents the number of pixels or dots in an image.

What file formats are available?
|
 |
|
We offer three different types of downloads: Basic, Geo and Complete. The Basic file contains the image in the .jpg format that is a relatively universal image format. The Geo file contains the .jpg image plus a georeferenced world file. The Complete file contains the image in all of the following formats: jpg, png, tif, psd, pdf, bmp, and gif plus georeferenced world file.

How long do I have to wait to receive my image download?

The process is nearly instantaneous. You should see a page with a link to download the image immediately after purchasing. You should also receive an email receipt with a link to download the image. Otherwise, you can immediately go to your Order History and download the image from the site.

Can I receive a refund if I don’t like my digital image?
|
 |
|
We do not offer refunds on digital images. We ask that all customers preview their image prior to purchase and carefully look over the image for any imperfections. As long as the image that you received is the image that was present in the preview, we cannot issue a refund.

Can I receive a refund if my file is corrupted?
|
 |
|
If you receive a corrupted file, please erase the image and try downloading it again from your Account page or from the Receipt in your email inbox. If the file is still corrupted, we will attempt to replace the image or issue a refund.

How much do the digital image downloads cost?
|
 |
|
Costs vary with the size of the image downloaded and whether you opt for the Image Only - JPG file, Georeferenced JPG file, or Complete – All Files image set. Please consult the purchase menu at the bottom of the image viewer to find out the current costs of the images. Please note that subscribers receive a discount on digital image purchases.

What do I do if I do not receive a Receipt?
|
 |
|
Please check your Junk or Spam folder for the Receipt. You can also go to www.TerraServer.com and click on Cart. You can then click on Click Here to Review Order History and type in your email address and order number. This will bring up the receipt where you can then click on the download link under Status. You may also contact us at contact@terraserver.com or call us at 877-878-9248.

How do I retrieve the image download file that I have purchased?
|
 |
|
Once you have completed an order, an email will be sent to your email address with a link to download the image. If you accidentally delete the email or do not receive one, you may download the image from the website on your Account page. Click on your Order History and you will find instructions for downloading your image from the website.

Are your images geo-referenced?
|

|
The Geo file contains the .jpg image plus a georeferenced world file. The Complete file contains the image in all of the following formats: jpg, png, tif, psd, pdf, bmp, and gif plus georeferenced world file. This allows you to easily add our imagery to any GIS or geo-referenced compatible software, such as ESRI ArcMap/ArcGIS and AutoCAD.
